Objective of the Guide is to provide to government regulators, entrepreneurs, financers, academicians the information sufficient to make their decision on launching Islamic finance projects.

Structure:
1. General part (Introduction to Islamic economic system, Islamic contract, Islamic modes of financing) - is meant to provide the basic information essential for understanding of the basics of Islamic economics,
and making decisions on applying new forms of doing business.
2. Special part (Investment in Islam, Banking in Islam, Leasing in Islam, Insurance in Islam, Non-profit finance in Islam, Microfinance in Islam, Conclusion to financial regulators) – includes suggestions to Russian
investment companies, banks, leasing and insurance, and microfinance companies on introduction into their practice of Islamic financing methods. The suggestions include general description of the financial institution,
basic schemes of the implementation, areas of legislative changes required for establishment of a full-fledged Islamic finance system. The chapter “End solution for a financial regulator” represents a summarized conclusion on prospective legislative changes.
3. Appendix (Glossary of Islamic financial terms, Contributors’ profile)
The authors explain bases of the system, its instruments and their application by financial institutions, make suggestions to them, as well as share their unique experience and knowledge, and their views on the future
of the Russian Islamic finance and instruments for its harmonious implementation. In their work the authors focus more on the practical side of the issue providing various examples and solutions.
