Minnikhanov, a delegation of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce of Jeddah, headed by the chairman of the Council of Chambers of Commerce of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, chairman of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce of Jeddah, Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel comes to Kazan on May 27.
Last year, Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel, actively supported the international event KAZANSUMMIT 2010, and this year he attends KAZANSUMMIT 2011 as a speaker of the Strategic Forum. Active engagement of Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel with the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the organizers of KAZANSUMMIT is an indicator of willingness on both sides for a practical and productive dialogue in the development of Islamic business and finance.
The main objective of KAZANSUMMIT is the development of international economic relations between Russia and the Muslim world, establishment of cooperation in the area of direct investments, relationship building between the representatives of different businesses of Russian Federation, the CIS, South-East Asia, the Middle East and countries.
Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Camel started his career at the Saudi Ministry of Finance and he worked there till he quitted the public career to establish his own business "Dallah Establishment”. Later he established the huge conglomerate company "AlBaraka Investment & Development” a holding company for many Islamic Banks and financial Institutions operating according to Islamic teachings in various diversified business activities all over the world.
Saleh Kamel is well recognized as one of the pioneer personalities in the field of Islamic Banking and Finance, whilst his companies are known as pioneers in many business adventures throughout the region. He elaborates the application of the Islamic Banking and Finance through many written articles and lectures in various disciplines of Islamic Economics.
In recognition for his personal endeavors, wide achievements and the remarkable contributions of "Dallah AlBarka Group” of companies in enhancing development and creating new jobs in many countries, Sheikh Saleh Kamel has been honored by many medals, titles and prizes.
