Today, five days long advanced training courses regarding Islamic insurance starts in Russian Islamic Institute.
Islamic Business and Finance Development Fund (IBFD Fund), Kazan (Privolzhsky) federal university, Russian Islamic University and LLC IC “Alliance Life” are organizers of the course.
Councillor of Prime Minister of the Tatarstan Republic regarding cooperation with Islamic financial Institutes, President of IBFD Fund Linar Yakupov, Deputy Director General of LLC IC “Alliance Life” Olga Stepanova, Director of Russian center of Islamic Economy and Finances (RCIEF) Rinat Gabbasov were present at state opening of courses.
Important issues of nowadays are implementation of Islamic economic products at banking, insurance and other spheres, development of education in the scope of Islamic economy. These are the tasks which Russian Islamic Institute and Russian center of Islamic economy and finances performed – Linar Yakupov underlined at his welcome speech.
Councillor of Prime Minister has noted about the importance of cooperation of all concerned parties, collaboration with international institutes and practical steps in realization of assigned tasks.
Deputy Director General of LLC IC “Alliance Life” Olga Stepanova informed that Islamic insurance product, adapted to Russian market is already prepared, but some technical moments are to be settled. – And I am glad, that these are technical moments only, and for sure it will be solved soon. So we can announce that Islamic insurance product, which satisfies the requirements of Islam are going to appear in market in the next year, - Olga Stepanova stated.
Lecturers of the courses are worldwide recognized specialist at Islamic economy. They are Maksatbek Kairgaliev – Sharia adviser of Islamic Financial, Business and Training Center (IFBTC), Kuralai Eldesbai – Chairman of Executive Board of Mutual Insurance Company “Takaful” Halal Insurance, Alfi Salikhova – PhD, associate professor of department of finances of Pavlodar State University (Kazakhstan Republic), Certified Islamic Finance Executive (CIFE); Osman Ahmed – specialist at Islamic finances and Islamic insurance IRTI-IDB (Islamic Development Bank, Saudi Arabia).
Islamic insurance courses will continue up to November 21. Round-table of Islamic insurance implementation is going to be held on November 22.
